Apple's own refurbished store sells units that were returned, repaired to new condition, and tested to Apple's full standards. Every unit comes with:

• Eligibility for AppleCare+

2. Independent Apple repair shops (best balance in Dubai)

Reputable independent shops, including ours, sell refurbished MacBooks they've serviced and tested in-house. What to expect from a good shop:

• Full hardware diagnostic before sale
• Battery replaced if health is below 85%
• 30–90 day warranty on the unit
• Transparent about any cosmetic wear

Discount is typically 25–40% vs new. The key advantage over Dubizzle: if something fails within the warranty period, you have recourse. Ask to see the diagnostic report before buying.

3. Authorised Apple resellers

• Battery health: check Settings → Battery → Battery Health. Anything below 80% needs a replacement (AED 450–700 depending on model), factor that into the price.
