What do MacBook repairs cost at our workshop?

What's included in every repair
- Genuine Apple parts when available, premium-grade aftermarket otherwise
- Written warranty of 15 days to 2 years on parts and workmanship, depending on the repair
- Walk-in service at Concord Tower, Dubai Media City - no appointment needed
- Full diagnostic test and post-repair quality check
- Free internal cleaning, dust removal, and thermal repaste on MacBook repairs
- Original packaging or protective box for safe transport
- Itemised invoice with serial number and parts used
What's NOT included (honest list)
- Replacement parts for discontinued models (some pre-2012 Macs no longer have OEM stock)
- T2 and M-series Secure Enclave bypass - encrypted data on dead boards may be unrecoverable
- 100% liquid damage success rate - actual recovery rate is 80-90% depending on exposure time
- Warranty on accidental damage during normal use after collection
- Replacement of cosmetic dents, scratches, or chassis damage (cosmetic-only repair quoted separately)
- Refunds on parts already installed if you change your mind after approval
Honesty matters more than a pitch. Better to know the limits up front than discover them on day 5.
A cracked or broken screen is not covered by warranty
Your warranty covers the new part and our workmanship - a faulty panel, dead pixels, backlight bleed or touch failure. It does not cover a screen that cracks or breaks after the repair. Glass can break from a drop, a knock, pressure on the closed lid, or opening the device unevenly - that is accidental physical damage, and no repair warranty (ours or Apple's) covers it. Please handle a freshly fitted screen with care.

Pricing FAQ
- Two reasons. First, component-level repair: when only the LCD panel is damaged, the team replaces the panel alone instead of swapping the entire display assembly. Second, no Apple Store overhead - Concord Tower rent is a fraction of a Mall of the Emirates retail unit.
- No. They are estimates from previous customers' job sheets over twelve months. Parts prices move with the market, so today's price can be lower or higher. Ask us and we quote today's exact price in writing on WhatsApp after the free diagnosis; nothing starts until you approve it.
- Yes. Every quote we give is the all-in amount you pay - no 5% added at checkout.
- Everything, in one figure: the part, the fitting, 5% VAT and card fees, plus any paid onsite visit or return courier you book with us. We do not add separate lines at collection. The invoice shows the VAT, so you can see what part of the price it is.
- Yes. Pay in cash at collection and you get 2.5% off the quoted price, because we avoid the bank's card charge. Card, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay pay the quoted price as it stands.
- Cash (AED), Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and bank transfer to Emirates NBD. Payment on collection only - never before the repair is approved.
- For 3 or more devices in one drop-off (common with corporate clients in Media City and JLT), the labour component drops 15%. Send the model list through the quote form for a fixed quote.
- No. Liquid damage recovery is 80-90% successful, not 100%. The starting price covers the ultrasonic clean; heavier corrosion treatment and component replacement (up to 4 chips) is quoted after the free diagnosis. If the board is unrecoverable, you pay nothing and receive the data recovery quote separately.
- Most repairs cost the same. Two exceptions: full display assemblies on 2016-2019 Touch Bar Pros cost far more than a panel-only repair, because the entire lid swaps as one unit. RAM upgrades are quoted separately - Apple Silicon RAM is soldered and can't be upgraded.
- SSD upgrade labour plus a fresh macOS install, quoted together (plus the drive). A 2015 MacBook Air with a 256 GB SSD swap and a clean install runs noticeably faster than a 2018 model with a failing 128 GB drive.
- Recovery from a working drive in a working MacBook: included free. Recovery from a dead drive or water-damaged board is quoted after assessment. On T2 and Apple silicon Macs the storage is encrypted to the Mac's own chip, so recovery means repairing the original board until it runs; that board-level work sits at the top of the range.
- Yes. Book any same-day courier app yourself, hand the device to the driver and share the tracking link in the WhatsApp chat that opens after you send the quote form - it reaches us within the day. Once it's fixed, collect it from the workshop, or we book a courier to bring it back. A paid onsite visit is also possible, subject to technician availability, with the charge quoted on WhatsApp first.
- Bring the device back for a free inspection. If the same fault has returned, the original technician - usually Usman for MacBook board work or Shafiq for screens and batteries - re-opens the unit and redoes the repair free of charge.
