Can we upgrade the RAM or SSD?
No. Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1 through M5) have SoC-integrated RAM and a soldered SSD. The chip, RAM, and storage are one package on the logic board. Buy enough when you order - upgrading later is impossible.
The storage is encrypted and tied to the chip, so chip-off recovery is not possible. Getting data back from a failed machine means repairing the original logic board until it runs again - message us on WhatsApp for a quote. More on data recovery →

FAQ
- Screen / display assembly replacement on the MacBook Air 15" M2 is priced per model and panel condition - message us on WhatsApp for today's exact price. Typical timeline 2-3 days. Includes a 3-month written warranty on the panel and the labour.
- No. Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1 through M5) have RAM unified into the SoC and the SSD soldered to the logic board. The chip, RAM and storage are one package. Buy enough storage and RAM at order time - upgrade later is impossible. The storage is encrypted and tied to the chip, so chip-off recovery is not possible: getting data back from a failed machine means getting the original logic board running again. Message us on WhatsApp for a quote.
- Battery replacement on the MacBook Air 15" M2 is typically completed the same day - message us on WhatsApp for today's exact price. We use cells with verified cycle counts and reseal the chassis properly.
- Absolutely - easy decision. Released 3 years ago. Apple Silicon performance is still elite, parts are abundant, and the Air 15 M2 runs the latest macOS perfectly. Repairs pay for themselves quickly.
- Check System Settings > Battery > Battery Health; the info button shows Maximum Capacity. Below 80%, or "Service Recommended", means the battery is worn. We test it free and fit a new one with a 3-month warranty and an 80% capacity guarantee - message us on WhatsApp for today's price.
- Switch it off straight away, unplug the charger (MagSafe or USB-C) and don't try to turn it on or charge it. Corrosion spreads across the logic board while it has power, and the SSD is soldered to that board, so protecting the board is also how your files are saved. Message us on WhatsApp for a free diagnosis, then bring it straight to our Media City workshop; liquid-damage work carries a 15-day warranty.
- It has no fan, so it slows itself down to stay cool during long exports or builds - that is normal, and more noticeable in a hot room. If it is hot while idle, drains quickly or shuts down on its own, that points to a runaway app or a battery, charging or liquid-damage fault, and we diagnose it free.
- Walk in to our workshop in Concord Tower, Dubai Media City, a 3-minute walk from the Palm Jumeirah tram stop, with parking on site, or send it by a same-day courier you book. WhatsApp the model and a photo of the issue and we'll quote you within 4 minutes. Written warranty of up to 12 months, depending on the repair.
