MacBook Pro M2 Screen Repair Dubai
How much does MacBook Pro M2 screen repair cost in Dubai?
MacBook Pro M2 screen repair in Dubai is quoted per size after a free diagnosis at MacBook Repair Dubai — the 14-inch and 16-inch take different panels. The M2 Pro and M2 Max (2023) use the same Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED panel technology as the M1 Pro but in a revised chassis that requires M2-specific replacement assemblies. Some M2 Pro models were ordered with nano-texture glass, which affects replacement parts and pricing. Same-day diagnosis; most repairs completed same-day to 1 day.

M2 display facts
What makes the M2 Pro screen different
The M2 Pro uses the same Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED technology as the M1 Pro but the chassis is revised for the 2023 model year. M1 and M2 display assemblies are not interchangeable. We stock M2-specific replacement panels for both 14-inch and 16-inch. Using an M1 assembly in an M2 chassis causes fitment and calibration issues.
Nano-texture glass was an optional add-on for the M2 Pro and M2 Max at the time of purchase. The nano-texture finish is an etched matte coating on the outer glass surface that reduces glare compared to the standard glossy panel. Nano-texture replacement assemblies are priced slightly higher than standard glass. We confirm which panel your machine has before quoting so there are no surprises.
The M2 MacBook Pro introduced HDMI 2.1 and a full-size SD card reader on the same chassis as the display. Physical damage to the left side of the machine near the HDMI port can affect the display cable routing that passes near that area. A thorough free diagnosis covers the cable path and any secondary components before we quote.
M2 Pro battery life reaches up to 22 hours in Apple's testing, making this machine worth repairing even at 2-3 years old. A screen repair costs a small fraction of a new M2 Pro, so repair is the clear value choice. The M2 Pro and M2 Max logic boards have no issues related to the display repair.
Dubai's construction and desert dust environment accelerates wear on display flex cables more than Apple's lab test conditions assume. Fine particulate that works into the hinge area can gradually abrade the flex cable over 2-3 years of daily lid opening. We inspect the cable condition during diagnosis and include cable assessment in the free diagnostic.
Common issues
MacBook Pro M2 display faults we repair
Liquid Retina XDR backlight flickering on M2 Pro
Localised mini-LED zone failure causes areas of the screen to flicker or vary in brightness independently of system brightness settings. This is a panel assembly fault. Free diagnosis confirms.
Vertical or horizontal lines on M2 Pro display
Continuous coloured or black lines running across the full width or height of the screen indicate panel damage or a display cable interruption. We diagnose which component is at fault before any parts are ordered.
Black screen with Mac booting (backlight or cable fault)
A faint image visible under torch light but no backlight indicates a backlight driver fault or cable issue on the M2 board. The logic board itself is typically undamaged.
Cracked screen 14-inch M2 Pro
Impact damage to the 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR panel requires full assembly replacement. The mini-LED array is bonded to the LCD and cannot be replaced separately.
Cracked screen 16-inch M2 Max
Physical screen damage on the 16-inch model requires the larger 16-inch assembly. Stock is confirmed before work begins.
Colour shift or incorrect colour on M2 Pro display
Panel failure can cause colour banding, green or pink tint, or areas of washed-out colour. This is distinct from a macOS display profile misconfiguration. Free diagnosis identifies the cause.

MacBook Pro M2 screen repair — questions
M2 chip-specific answers before you book.
- MacBook Pro M2 screen repair at MacBook Repair Dubai is quoted per size in writing, all-in with panel, labour, and 3-month warranty. Diagnosis is free. Apple does not publish a Mac screen price (it inspects the Mac first), so we quote before any work and you can compare.
- The 14-inch M2 Pro screen is typically replaced the same day. The 16-inch M2 Max takes 1-2 days depending on assembly stock. Free diagnosis is done within the hour.
- Yes, slightly. Nano-texture glass panels have an etched matte finish that requires a different replacement assembly to the standard glossy panel. We confirm which glass type your M2 Pro has during the free diagnosis and adjust the quote accordingly. The price difference is modest.
- Yes. The M2 Pro and M2 Max are high-performance machines with years of usable life ahead. A screen repair costs a small fraction of a new MacBook Pro, so repair is strongly cost-effective for most users.
- No. The M2 MacBook Pro (2023) uses a revised chassis with different display cable routing and connector positions compared to the M1 (2021). M1 assemblies do not fit correctly in M2 chassis and can cause display calibration, backlight, or connection issues. We use M2-specific assemblies.
