My coursework is on a MacBook that will not turn on. Can you save it?

Usually yes. We attempt recovery from the SSD before any board work and confirm what was recovered. On Apple silicon and T2 Macs the storage is soldered, so it's board-level work rather than pulling out a drive.

I am a student - how do I know the price will not spiral?

The price is fixed in writing on WhatsApp after the free diagnosis and before any work starts. If we find something else, we come back to you for approval rather than adding to the bill.

What if the repair is not worth it on an old MacBook?

We'll tell you that plainly rather than take the job. Diagnosis is free and there's no charge if we can't fix it, so an honest 'not worth it' costs you nothing.

How quickly can a student MacBook screen or battery be replaced?

Often the same day when the part is in stock, and that covers keyboards and trackpads too. Board-level work takes longer. If you have a deadline, tell us in the quote form before the Mac arrives.

Can a friend hand my MacBook to the courier while I am in a lecture?

Yes. You book the courier app, so anyone you trust can hand the Mac over at the gate or reception. Share the tracking link and your name in the WhatsApp chat that opens after you send the quote form, so the repair is under the right person.

Can a technician come to campus to repair my Mac?

Only as a paid onsite visit, and only when a technician is free. For a single student MacBook, sending it by courier or bringing it in is usually simpler. Ask through the quote form and we'll quote any visit first.

Do you repair iMac and Mac mini used in campus labs?

Yes. Lab desktops can come in by courier if they're boxed and padded, or a paid onsite visit can be arranged when a technician is free. Several machines can be quoted together on WhatsApp.

Where can I get a MacBook repaired near Academic City?

Coursework lives on the MacBooks of Dubai Academic City, the university district past Silicon Oasis on the Al Ain Road side, home to BITS Pilani, Manipal, Amity, Heriot-Watt and their student accommodation. Very little nearby repairs them properly. Our MacBook repair workshop is at Concord Tower, Dubai Media City, about 35 minutes by car. If you have a car, or a friend with one, walk in with no appointment for a free diagnosis. Otherwise book a same-day courier app from your residence reception and share the tracking link in the WhatsApp chat that opens after you send the quote form.

For a student, two things decide everything: the cost and whether the coursework survives. Diagnosis is free and there's no charge if we can't fix the machine, so you're never billed to hear bad news. If the Mac won't boot, we try to recover your files before any board work and tell you what came off. Because the logic board is repaired at component level instead of replaced, a fault another shop prices near the value of the laptop is often far smaller here. You book the courier yourself, so there's no waiting on us.
