How close is the workshop to Knowledge Park?

About five minutes. The workshop is in Concord Tower in Dubai Media City, directly across Sheikh Zayed Road. Most students walk or grab a short taxi over between classes.

My coursework is on a MacBook that won't start. Can you save it?

Usually. We attempt recovery from the SSD before any board work and confirm what was recovered. On Apple silicon and T2 Macs the storage is soldered, so it's board-level work rather than removing a drive.

I'm a student. How do I know the price won't grow?

The price is fixed in writing on WhatsApp after the free diagnosis and before any work starts. If we find something else, we ask you first rather than adding it to the bill.

How fast is a screen or battery replacement?

Often the same day for in-stock parts, and because we're five minutes away you can drop it before a lecture and pick it up after. Board-level work takes longer.

Can a friend drop off or pick up my MacBook for me?

Yes. Tell us their name in the quote form before they come, and we'll hand the Mac over to them when it's ready. The quote and the approval still come to you, not to your friend.

Do you repair lab Macs for the universities?

Yes, lab iMacs and Mac minis included. Each machine gets its own free diagnosis and written quote. They're a short drive from here, so carrying them over is usually simpler than an onsite visit, which is paid and depends on a technician being free.

Should I send my MacBook by courier from Knowledge Park?

Usually there's no point. A same-day courier app works, but you'd wait for the app's driver to cover a five-minute trip. Walking it over gets the free diagnosis started sooner, and you can ask Shafiq questions face to face.

Where can I get a MacBook repaired near Dubai Knowledge Park?

Just across Sheikh Zayed Road from Media City, Dubai Knowledge Park is about five minutes from our workshop in Concord Tower. It's a mix of university campuses, training institutes and education offices, so most Macs from here are student MacBooks holding coursework and staff laptops holding lesson and admin material. For MacBook repair from Knowledge Park, the obvious route is to walk or take a short taxi over between classes. Booking a courier or paying for an onsite visit rarely makes sense this close. The diagnosis is free, and the price is fixed in writing before anything starts.

For a student, the two questions are cost and whether the coursework survives. The diagnosis is free and there's no fee if we can't fix the machine, so you never pay to hear bad news. If the MacBook won't boot, we try to recover your files first and tell you what came off. Because we repair the logic board at component level instead of replacing it, a fault another shop prices near the value of the laptop often costs far less here. Every price is fixed on WhatsApp before we open the Mac.
